I am taking 3 classes this semester, Macroeconomics, which is on Mondays for the first seven weeks of the semester, Microeconomics, Mondays for the second seven weeks of the semester, and Corporate Finance, which is on Thursdays for the entire semester. Both Macro and Finance are my types of classes...straight lecture and exams. I'm sure Micro will be the same.
Both professors seems really great, too. Both are easy going and know what it is like to work full time and also pursue an MBA (which I am starting to realize is no easy task).
Enough about school for now. You should really check out Google Talk (www.google.com/talk). I downloaded it last night and started playing around with it. It's by far my favorite IM tool...very clean interface and zero ads. It also allows you to use IP Telephony and make free calls via your computer to any other Google Talk user. Ben, a coworker and fellow member of the NKYPoker league (www.nkypoker.org), and I tested it last night. Sounds much better than the old PC to PC voice programs from back in the day. It was fairly successful as I finished 2nd in the first tournament and 6th in the second. I came out $40 ahead on the evening, so not too bad. Check out www.nkypoker.org for more info. My wife and I did interview two more cleaning companies to clean our house, and we decided on one. I'm hoping they can start this week before the fantasy football draft!
Still waiting for my Stats grade. It's rough on the nerves.
Bengals are looking good in practice. Going to have a great 3 receiver set this year, plus 2 stud running backs. This could be a playoff year!

First, tomorrow is the opening tournament in the NKYPoker League, which was formed by several gentlemen in my office. You can find out more information at www.nkypoker.org. Should be a great time.
Second, the NKYLeague Fantasy Football draft is this Friday. This is our fourth year and our first using keepers. We have several people coming in to town for the draft, so it should be pretty exciting.
Also, the Fall semester begins next week at Xavier, so I have to start preparing for my classes. I am taking 3 classes, Macro and Microeconomics, both seven weeks long, back-to-back on Mondays, and Corporate Finance on Thursdays. Hopefully the classes will be easier than my Stats class this past summer.

The exam was by far the hardest I have ever taken, consisting of 8 questions (2 Normal Distribution problems, 1 Binomial problem, 1 problem using Bayes' Theorem, 1 probability, 1 Process Capability problem, 1 Multiple Regression problem, and 1 "what did you learn in this class" 2-page paper. Unbelievable.
Now I get to stress out for 3 days while awaiting my final grade.

I've been really busy this summer with school, so I haven't had a chance to really get into this blogging thing. But, I am going to make it a goal of mine to at least think about posting every day. No promises, though.
Concerning school, I am taking a Statistics course right now in the MBA program at Xavier University. It's a tough course with a tough professor, but I only have 2 weeks left, so I think I'll make it through.
